Every year, an invited audience of 100 guests gathers at Cumberland Lodge to hear from a renowned speaker on a topic of national or international social importance that relates to our work as a charitable foundation.
The Cumberland Lodge Lecture is one of our most presitigous annual events. It is chaired by our Chair of Trustees, Sir Stephen Wall, and followed by dinner in our historic dining rooms.
On special occasions an additional lecture has been held to mark an event or anniversary of national importance, such as the Diamond Jubilee Lecture given by HRH The Princess Royal, in 2012, shortly after the London 2012 Olympic Games.
