Students come to Cumberland Lodge for an intensive academic retreat in fantastic surroundings. Students report that, having been here, they return to their studies with renewed energy and enthusiasm and with more of an understanding of how their subject contributes to wider ethical issues.
For over 60 years we have been a forum in which academics and public figures meet with university students from a range of disciplines. Our visitors book contains the signatures of the great and the good from the earliest days of the foundation.
