Short walks in practically any direction from the Lodge will reveal a stunning variety of woodland and wildlife.

The Lodge owns four pianos, and a variety of other musical instruments.

Ideal for impromptu performances and planned recitals alike.

World Renowned Smith's Lawn is short walk from the Lodge

Smith's Lawn is the home ground for the Guards' Polo Club. In season, many national and international games are played here - including, of course, The Queen's Cup.

Croquet on the lawn is popular in spring and summer

But since the WiFi network extends across the lawn it is just a popular as a place to surf the net, or even to read a magazine.

The games rooms are in the basement

In the basement there are facilities for table tennis, snooker, and pool as well as a gym.

Recreational Features

The Lodge has its own tennis court. In the summer croquet and boules are popular. In the basement is a gym, as well as table tennis and snooker facilities.

Board games are available. The Lodge is fully licensed and discos and parties can be held by arrangement.
