Cathy is Head of Policy, Partnerships and Public Affairs at Women in Sport and the Founder of Aposto, a digital safety briefing platform for sport.

 An advisor to football clubs and governing bodies and a campaigner on football fan issues, she spent 15 years at the Premier League where she led their policy team and introduced new standards in equality, diversity and inclusion, and ensured every club improved access for disabled fans.  She also served on the board of Kick it Out for 8 years, chaired the Safety Group of the European Professional Football Leagues and is a regular contributor to radio programmes and podcasts. She has held a season ticket for the Kop at Liverpool FC for 31 years and is committed to using sport for social change.
