Danny Shaw is an analyst and commentator on criminal justice and policing. He spent 31 years at the BBC where he won numerous awards for his coverage of crime and the law. As home affairs correspondent, he documented the fortunes of ten Home Secretaries and reported on thousands of stories, including the 2005 and 2017 terror attacks, Operation Yewtree and the murder of Jill Dando. Danny was a journalism lecturer at City University for 13 years, and is now a Senior Associate at Crest Advisory, the criminal justice consultancy, and is Chief Presenter for Policing TV.
