Kristen is listed as a guest speaker for one of our discussions but she does not work at Cumberland Lodge. We cannot share her contact details and it is not always possible for us to pass on contact enquiries to past speakers.

Kristen has been working for 15 years coordinating partnerships supporting climate change adaptation, currently as manager of the London Climate Change Partnership, and previously as director of Climate South East and Chair of Climate UK. Her major interest is in facilitating the conversation between science and practice, bringing together people and ideas from across sectors to respond to the social and environmental challenges presented by climate change.

In particular, she is interested in the social justice issues raised by climate change and the need to incorporate equity in adaptive planning.

In her previous life, she worked on human rights, as a Senior Researcher on political rights, civil liberties and press freedom at Freedom House in New York.
