Nicola Di Luzio leads on advocacy at the Social Mobility Commission, an independent advisory public body.

As Deputy Director for Stakeholder Strategy & Advocacy in the SMC secretariat, she brings to life the SMC's mandate to promote social mobility through new and traditional media, engagement with government, the third sector, employers and more. She has over a decade of experience in the UK civil service, primarily in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. Prior to joining the SMC she played an active role on the FCDO staff Social Mobility Network committee, partnering with social mobility organisations to improve the FCDO's outreach to young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
