Rhinal is listed as a guest speaker for one of our discussions but she does not work at Cumberland Lodge. We cannot share her contact details and it is not always possible for us to pass on contact enquiries to past speakers.
Rhinal Patel has given talks on the environment, human rights and wellbeing internationally (including the Amazon region) and in the UK. She has worked with Amnesty International, International Women's Day, Tedx and the NSPCC as a counsellor and was a lead speaker at a United Nations model conference and Greenpeace. In March 2021, she is offering an exclusive talk on calculating your carbon footprint (find out more here).
Rhinal has travelled extensively and seen first-hand how environmental issues affects the human rights of people around the world. She was a finalist for welsh government St David’s Awards for her international work through her own charity and frequently interviewed in UK and international media.
She previously worked as a communications director for a film company in London and left that profession after realising the contamination of consumer goods industries. Her talks centre around the inter-relation between mental health, the environment and mindfulness, which she also tries to practice in her daily life.
