Recipient of The Archbishop of Canterbury's Hubert Walter Award in Reconciliation and interfaith 2021 for her work across the UK and internationally, Sarwat has specialised in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the corporate sector and communities, as a Behavioural Change expert for nearly 20 years.
She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, The Centre of Conscious Design (global lead for faith & urbanism) and the Institute of Leadership & Management. Sarwat trained and worked as an interior architect consulting in thought leadership for global practices before retraining in Behavioural Change. Her experience is drawn from living in different continents.
Sarwat is a regular speaker and facilitator on psychology and environment and mental health resilience. A qualified wellbeing practitioner, she has advised government at a high level in policy, ethnic minority outreach, anti-hate, cohesion and lexicon for conflict resolution in developing countries regarding freedom of religion & belief.
Sarwat sits on several boards as an advisor and is the founder of a social enterprise advising organisations internationally, in creating healthy, diverse, inclusive working cultures.
