Antonin ('Anto') is a part-time PhD candidate at the University of Birmingham, based in the School of Philosophy, Theology and Religion. His research focuses on the ethics of virtual reality and digital technologies, specifically around the concepts of privacy and selfhood.

Originally from France, Anto has lived and studied in several countries. He recently moved from Hong Kong to England, to take up the position of Youth Minister at a church in Godalming, where he lives with his wife.

Anto holds a BA in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, an MA in International Business from ESCE Paris, a BA (Hons) in Theology from the Institut Protestant de Théologie in Paris/the University of Strasbourg (dual degree), and an MA in Christian Education and Formation from Princeton Theological Seminary.
