Christine Ohuruogu, MBE, is a British athlete who specialised in the 400 metres; the event for which she is a former Olympic, World and Commonwealth Champion.

Christine’s personal best time of 49.41 seconds is the current British Record and was set while winning the IAAF World Championships in 2013.  This title made her the first British female to win two World Championship titles, the first British female to win three global titles, and the first British athlete of any gender to win three global titles in the same event. Christine returned from the 2016 Rio Olympics with a bronze medal for the 4x400m, making her the first female British Athlete to win medals at three consecutive Olympic Games and make her the most decorated British athlete of all time.

Since retiring from athletics, Christine has undertaken and passed a law degree.
