Dr. Elaine Kasket is an HCPC-Registered Counselling Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. In her independent practice she provides psychotherapy, supervision, consultancy and mentorship. She is a writer, speaker, and public intellectual and a visiting lecturer at multiple universities.
All the Ghosts in the Machine (Little Brown UK/Robinson, 2019) is Elaine’s first nonfiction book and audiobook for general audiences. It is currently being translated for readers in China, Taiwan, Korea and Romania, with future translations to come. She has also published many academic journal articles and book chapters, a professional book for aspiring practitioners (How to Become a Counselling Psychologist, 2017), poetry, and articles for the mainstream press. She blogs regularly on Medium and is working on her next two books, Private and The Sharent Trap.
