Sam joined us as a Cumberland Lodge Scholar in September 20107. Sam is a Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Training Fellow in the School of Social and Community Medicine at the University of Bristol, and a GP in Thornbury, just outside of Bristol.

He leads the TIMeLi (Towards Improving the diagnosis of Memory Loss) research group in general practice, and his PhD research study investigates which tests are most useful for making the diagnosis of dementia in general practice.
