Dr Tiffany Jenkins is an author, academic, broadcaster and consultant on cultural policy. Her writing credits include the Observer, the Financial Times, the Guardian, the Scotsman (for which she was a weekly columnist on social and cultural issues) and the Spectator. She is an Honorary Fellow at the University of Edinburgh; and a former visiting fellow in the Department of Law at the London School of Economics; and the former Arts and Society director of the Academy of Ideas. Her PhD is in sociology, her BA in art history.
Her book Keeping Their Marbles: How Treasures of the Past Ended Up in Museums and Why They Should Stay There was published in 2016 to critical acclaim. She is also the author of Contesting Human Remains in Museum Collections: The Crisis of Cultural Authority, and editor of Political Culture: Soft Interventions and Nation Building.
