Jessica is Chair of Trustees at South Hill Park Arts Centre and in her three years has led the charity through some of the most challenging times in its 40+ year history. She feels particularly drawn to supporting change and engaging in lateral thinking, now of increasing importance as South Hill Park and many other arts centres across the country try to survive the current pandemic.
She was a co-founder and Director of Creative Junction CIC for 13 years; a non-profit which reached in excess of half a million people through arts, cultural and heritage festivals, projects and events, both nationally and internationally. Jessica played a key role in regional activity leading up to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
She has over 15 years experience in operational and financial strategy, including managing budgets for large national government programmes; extensive event and project management experience with and for a variety of clients across sectors, including arts, leisure and corporate; and practised experience as a trainer and facilitator.
She recently made Creative Junction dormant to accept a role as Deputy Director at the Corn Exchange Arts Centre in Newbury, with the opportunity to work with a large team and oversee five of the centre’s departments.
Driven through working with people, her passion is helping people to lead fulfilling lives and nurture their wellbeing through creative and social engagement.
She is an Action Learning Set Facilitator, a Mentor and has over 17 years' experience in leading teams.
