Lahari Ramuni is a researcher at Centre for Cities, a leading urban economic policy think tank. The organisation is committed to improving the economies of the UK's largest cities and towns, through rigorous economic research and evidence-based policy recommendations.

At the centre, Lahari specialises in the interplay between high streets and city centres as places of production and consumption. She is also interested in the part that the cities themselves play in the wider metropolitan regions and their relationships with other urban and non-urban areas.

She holds a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Bristol and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the London School of Economics. Prior to working in policy, Lahari worked as a Research Associate within the Financial Services Sector.
