Lynda Louise Burrell is the Creative Director of Museumand: The National Caribbean Heritage Museum - the first museum in the UK to celebrate Caribbean heritage, culture and social history.

Museumand is a museum and more. As a social history and community museum it celebrates and commemorates the Caribbean contribution to the UK. As a museum “without walls” it connects with communities across the UK, through art, music, performance and more. Dedicated to preserving Caribbean history, heritage and culture in original and unusual ways, Museumand is known for its innovative engaging exhibitions and events.

Lynda is also the Executive Editor at Black History Month Magazine and Website.

Lynda studied fashion at London College of Fashion and Middlesex University and went on to have an exciting career in New York as a fashion designer for companies including Marc Jacobs and as a fashion editor with magazines including Vogue and Marie Claire. She has also had several successful beauty businesses and a line of cosmetics.

Lynda’s skills as a heritage, culture and art consultant are always in high demand.
