Mamataj is a civil servant currently working on responding to health emergencies in the Department of Health and Social Care. Previously, she has worked on EU Exit policy and legislation and climate change and biodiversity projects.
Mamataj is a graduate of History and took part in the Faith and Belief Forum's student leadership programme, Parliamentors. Mamataj is a member of the Faith and Belief Forum's Youth Council, who organise interfaith activities for young people and plan the annual Interfaith Summit.
Mamataj volunteers for women's rights, gender equality and climate change and is interested in exploring how communities can work together to support these causes.
