Richard is a serial entrepreneur with a mission to find global solutions to the challenges faced in today’s post-digital era. He founded pioneering global technology solutions and services company Allied Worldwide over 25 years ago and was instrumental in creating the IT managed services sector. His global business consortium Globalution challenges the complacency of traditional business models, helping organisations work towards a revolutionary zero-cost approach.

Most recently, through his social enterprise company Digital Anthropology, he is working to raise awareness of the impact of new technologies on individuals and communities and holding companies accountable for mitigating the negative impact of ill-considered automation.

Richard believes in putting humans at the heart of technological advancement and maintains that a core social enterprise model will safeguard the human workforce and the sustainability of public services.

He is a firm believer in the benefits of conversation and has recently spoken passionately about future of work and Digital Anthropology to outlets such as the BBC, City AM and the Daily Star, and is a regular guest on TalkRadio.
