We are on the look-out for guest artists to exhibit at Cumberland Lodge as part of our rolling calendar of art exhibitions and cultural events for our guests and local community in Windsor.

Cumberland Lodge is an educational foundation that also offers its facilities for private hire. More than 12,000 people come through our doors every year and many of those stay overnight, from a wide range of businesses and organisations, including the NHS, the Inns of Court, the Police, charities and NGOs, government bodies and higher education institutions.

We organise a busy programme of conferences, seminars and educational activities designed to help people understand and address the root causes and effects of social divisions and think creatively about how to create more peaceful, open and inclusive societies.

Open to all

Our art exhibitions are renewed quarterly, with the opportunity to arrange private views, launch events and public open mornings. They are supported by promotional activity on our website, in our newsletters, through the local press and partner organisations, and via a range of other communications channels, including social media.

We welcome enquires from both emerging and well established artists, particularly those who explore relevant societal and ethical issues and could spark useful debate on contemporary topics through their work. We are also keen to hear from artists whose work is in keeping with the history and heritage of the Lodge, which is of an educational foundation housed in a 17th century former royal residence under the patronage of HM The Queen.

Recent exhibitions include:

  • Penny Warden - 'Strictly Movement'
  • Paul Hobbs - 'Wrapped in Light'
  • Becca Clegg - 'Colour in Landscape'
  • Wendy Timoney - 'Undazan Art'
  • Janet Atherton - 'An Exhibition of Textile Art'
  • Ian McKillop - 'Moments and Memories'
  • Bill Knight - 'The Refugee's Gift'
