Sally has worked in health and social research for nineteen years, focusing on using survey data to examine health inequalities and how the social environment shapes mental health. Her current roles include being Programme Director for the Adult Psychiatric Morbidity Survey (APMS) series; an NIHR study of trends and risk factors for suicidal behaviour (involving latent class analysis and examination of mortality-linked health survey data); and an ESRC-funded knowledge exchange programme developing research capacity in the third sector.
