Video footage of the 'Open Society under Threat? A Warning from History' panel discussion and book launch held at St Paul's Cathedral in London on Tuesday 16 May 2017.
The video features an address by Dr Rowan Williams, former Archbishop of Canterbury, and responses from Professor Maiken Umbach of the University of Nottingham and the retired British judge and Member of the House of Lrds, Baroness Butler-Sloss.
It also records a panel discussion between the three guest speakers, questions from the audience, and closing responses from the President of the British Academy, Professor Lord Stern, and Professor Kurt Barling of Middlesex University London.
Excerpts from Amy Buller's Darkness over Germany were read by the actress Tamsin Greig.
The event was introduced by Canon David Ison, Dean of St Paul's Cathedral, and chaired by Canon Dr Edmund Newell, our Principal. It was organised by Cumberland Lodge and the St Paul's Institute.
