Amanda joined the Board of Trustees in July 2022.

She is Chair of the charity The Queen’s Reading Room, former Chief Executive of Business in the Community (BITC) – The Prince’s Responsible Business Network – a Non-Executive Director of Lloyds Banking Group and Chair of the Responsible Business Committee, and an advisory board member of the Impact Investment Institute. 

Before joining BITC, Amanda was on loan from Aviva as Executive Advisor to Project Everyone, a Richard Curtis-inspired campaign for the United Nations to launch the Sustainable Development Goals. Previously Amanda was a member of Aviva’s Group Executive Committee for eight years as CCMO. Amanda has held director roles at British Airways Airmiles, BT, Hewlett Packard (EMEA), and British Gas. She was a trustee of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain for 10 years and a member of Lord Davies’ review steering group to increase the number of women on boards. Amanda is a Past President of the Marketing Society. 

Amanda was made an OBE in the 2014 New Year’s Honours, holds two honorary doctorates and the Freedom of the City of London.
