Exploring new ways of combating hateful behaviour and prejudice amongst young people in the UK.

As part of our 2017-18 'Freedom' series, we brought together educationalists, community practitioners, charity leaders, academics, campaigners, university students and sixth-form students, for a residential conference held at Cumberland Lodge in November 2017, and a subsequent, smaller consultation to review and refine key findings from the conference.

This project culminated in the publication of a cross-sector report that went on to contribute to the Government's All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Hate Crime report, How do we build community cohesion when hate crime is on the rise?, published in January 2019.
