The 40th annual Cumberland Lodge Police Conference explores issues of legitimacy and public confidence in our police service, an ever-present issue which often comes to the fore following high profile events, such as those we have seen in recent years involving the Metropolitan Police.

We took a multi-agency perspective, drawing on the wisdom and experience of police officers at all levels, students and academics, non-governmental organisations, media representatives, policymakers and community practitioners, to help improve understanding and inform policing responses.

Here you will find resources relating to this work. Key findings from this work will be consolidated into a Cumberland Lodge Report to be published later this year.
