This short documentary video tells the fascinating story behind Darkness over Germany and the lady who wrote it, and the establishment of the educational foundation at Cumberland Lodge 70 years ago, to help ensure that the events of the 1930s in Germany are never repeated.
The video features archive footage of the World Wars, recent footage from Cumberland Lodge events and current affairs, readings by the actress Tamsin Greig, excerpts from presentations by Dr Rowan Williams and Baroness Butler-Sloss.
