An independent briefing document prepared to guide and inform discussions at our 40th annual Police Conference conference, Legitimacy & Confidence in Policing, taking place in June 2022.
The briefing was written by Kathryn Farrow, our freelance Research Associate for this project, a doctoral student at the University of Oxford.
It provides an overview of current research and thinking around the relationship between the police and society.
