  • Dr Steve Joy¬†- Head of Researcher Development, University of Cambridge
  • Dr Kitty O'Lone - Researcher and Public Education Officer, The Woolf Institute (and former Amy Buller PhD Scholar at Cumberland Lodge)

As well as reflecting on their key take-aways from Life Beyond the PhD 2019, they discussed the challenges faced during research work in the present climate in the UK, and how we might overcome them, and the role that doctoral research can play in wider society.
