Chris Towler

In our 75th anniversary year, we are delighted to have invited local photographer, Chris Towler, to be our Photographer in Residence.

Chris has chaired the Windsor Photographic Society, one of the UK’s largest photography clubs, on several occasions, and continues to act as a mentor to local amateur photographers.

Chris will be supporting Cumberland Lodge over 12 months, to produce a photobook that portrays the great spirit and purpose of our work with people of all ages, backgrounds and perspectives, over 75 years. He describes his style as ‘simple, engaging and sometimes humorous’.

His passion lies in capturing the everyday, informal interactions between people, the natural world and architecture, through photography. He lives close to us in Englefield Green and will be joining us for our conferences, retreats and public events throughout the year.

Chris said: “I am both delighted and honoured to take on this role, and to help Cumberland Lodge to celebrate its 75th anniversary with well-earned pride.”
