We are welcoming back guests in line with Government guidance, and with the safety and confidence of our staff and guests as our priority.

Cumberland Lodge is a spacious venue for conferences, meetings, retreats, and private events and celebrations, and a special place to meet, reflect and regroup. Tucked away in the heart of Windsor Great Park, it offers airy reception rooms, a wide range of flexible meeting and dining spaces, impressive en-suite accommodation, and free parking on site. It is also easily accessible from several major motorways (M4, M3, M40 and M25).

Every booking helps to support our charitable work, promoting thought leadership and empowering people, through dialogue and debate, to tackle the causes and effects of social division.

COVID-19 guidance

We are pleased to be open to visiting groups once again, and proud of our 'Good to Go' accreditation from VisitEngland. We have been welcoming larger groups for events, while maintaining a considered and vigilant approach to the pandemic.

You can be assured that the same warm welcome awaits from our small team of experienced staff, and our usual excellent standards of hospitality and hygiene have been enhanced by measures designed to minimise risk and offer peace of mind for everyone.

As part of the UK Government’s ‘Living with COVID’ plan, which aims to get the nation back to normality while the virus is ongoing, we are all expected to exercise personal responsibility. Although it is no longer a legal requirement, public health advice remains to isolate for five days if you contract the virus – so that you don’t spread it to the most vulnerable in society.

If you are due to visit the Lodge but are feeling unwell and experiencing cold/flu-like symptoms, please do not attend unless you have been able to carry out a rapid lateral flow test and the result is negative.

If you fall ill while staying here at the Lodge, we recommend you make contact with your group leader and stay in your bedroom. We have a supply of rapid lateral flow tests on site and can get one to you immediately. If you test positive you will be asked to vacate and make your way home.

While face masks are no longer mandatory, we will still be encouraging guests to consider wearing them in public areas of the building, and are asking our staff to do the same.

We are grateful to all our guests and staff for their cooperation and understanding.
