We are 'COVID Secure' and we have been busy welcoming back guests for small, socially distanced events when we have been able to, in line with Government requirements.

We are grateful to the team at Windsor Leadership for helping us with the making of this video in September 2020.

Cumberland Lodge is operating in strict accordance with the Government's guidance for minimising the spread of COVID-19.

We have been awarded the 'Good to Go' accreditation from VisitEngland, and during the autumn we reopened to visiting groups for Covid-secure meetings and special events, while we were able to.

We are a spacious venue, tucked away in the heart of Windsor Great Park, offering airy reception rooms, a wide range of flexible meeting and dining spaces, impressive en-suite accommodation, and free parking on site. We are easily accessible from several major motorways (M4, M3, M40 and M25).

Please download our Covid-secure Meetings brochure, below, to find out more about why Cumberland Lodge is such a special place to meet, reflect and regroup.

Latest update

We are currently unable to welcome guests but we are still actively taking event bookings. Meanwhile, we continue to offer a stimulating series of of our own virtual conferences and public discussions online.

We hope to be able to reopen our facilities gradually this spring, in line with Government guidance for relaxing COVID-19 restrictions safely. This is likely to start with Groom's House leisure breaks, boutique weddings for up to 15 guests and funeral wakes for up to 30 guests from 12 April 2021.

We welcome all enquiries about hosting events at Cumberland Lodge from spring 2021 onwards, and our Meetings & Events team will be happy to discuss the available options.

Every booking helps to support us, at a time when our charitable income has been hit hard by the impacts of the pandemic, as we are unable to host the larger visiting groups that normally fill the house throughout the year.

As restrictions ease, you can be assured that the same warm welcome awaits from our small team of experienced staff, and our usual excellent standards of hospitality and hygiene are now enhanced by a raft of measures designed to provide a secure environment and peace of mind for everyone.

Upkeep and refurbishment

While we have been closed to visiting groups during the national lockdowns, we have taken the opportunity to deep-clean across the building.

Our in-house Maintenance team have ensured the upkeep and routine health and safety management of the premises but also redecorated and refurbished many of our bedrooms and bathrooms. High-use back-of-house areas have been deep-cleaned and redecorated, and external doors and window frames repainted.

Meanwhile, our Housekeeping team has focused on the regular cleaning of hard surfaces, contact points and high-traffic areas throughout the pandemic, and during the first national lockdown we paid particular attention to cleaning carpets and soft furnishings, throughout the site.

Enhanced procedures

We have a comprehensive plan in place to help keep staff and visitors safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. You can download a copy from this webpage, along with details about our enhanced procedures and preventative measures.

Please contact our Hospitality Director, Merrill Ryan, at mryan@cumberlandlodge.ac.uk or speak to our Meetings & Events team, on 01784 220521, to find out more.

We look forward to welcoming you to Cumberland Lodge and helping to make sure you enjoy a wonderful stay.
