We are grateful to the team at Windsor Leadership for helping us with the making of this video.
While we were closed to visiting groups in spring/summer 2020 we took the opportunity to deep-clean across the building. Our in-house Maintenance team not only ensured the upkeep and routine health and safety management of the premises but also redecorated and refurbished many of our bedrooms and bathrooms, to bring all of them up to a common high standard. High-use back-of-house areas that we rarely have time to decorate when busy, were improved, and external doors and window frames repainted.
Meanwhile, our Housekeeping team has been focusing on the regular cleaning of hard surfaces, contact points and high-traffic areas, and during lockdown we also paid particular attention to cleaning our carpets, in both public areas and guest bedrooms.
Since September 2020, Cumberland Lodge has been welcoming visiting groups of up to 30, refreshed and reinvigorated. The same warm welcome awaits, from our small team of experienced staff, with our usual excellent standards of hospitality and hygiene now enhanced by a raft of practical measures designed to maximise safety and peace of mind for everyone.
Please note that while we are unable to welcome guests during the national lockdown until 2 December 2020, we are still taking bookings for meetings, leisure breaks, weddings and fine dining, and we would love to hear from you.
