Cumberland Lodge is operating in strict accordance with the Government's guidance for minimising the spread of COVID-19.
We have been awarded the 'Good to Go' accreditation from VisitEngland, and during the autumn we reopened to visiting groups for Covid-secure meetings and special events, while we were able to.
We are a spacious venue, tucked away in the heart of Windsor Great Park, offering airy reception rooms, a wide range of flexible meeting and dining spaces, impressive en-suite accommodation, and free parking on site. We are easily accessible from several major motorways (M4, M3, M40 and M25).

During the current national lockdown we are unable to welcome guests, but we are still actively taking bookings for spring/summer 2021 and beyond, and we continue to offer a stimulating series of of our own virtual conferences and public discussions online.
When we reopen to guests, as restrictions ease again, you can be assured that the same warm welcome awaits from our small team of experienced staff, and our usual excellent standards of hospitality and hygiene are now enhanced by a raft of measures designed to provide a secure environment and peace of mind for everyone.
Reopening to visiting groups
Please enquire if you would like to find out about hosting a funeral wake or small commemorative event at Cumberland Lodge.
Once we return to Tier 3, we will be offering solo work hubs in the Georgian Mews next to the main Lodge, for those looking to escape from the home office and create a private work sanctuary in the Great Park.
In Tier 2, we can welcome visiting groups at up to 50% capacity for business meetings and educational events, with full social distancing and enhanced hygiene measures in place.
We can accommodate up to 32 participants for round-table meetings or 50 participants in theatre-style, in Flitcroft, our main conference room, and seat up to 50 people in our main dining rooms with the necessary social distancing measures in place.
We can also welcome parties of up to 15 for boutique weddings, with exclusive use of the house and grounds available on selected dates, from just £135 per person.
When we return to Tiers 1 or 2, we will resume hosting socially distanced dining events for the local community and offering single households and support bubbles the chance to enjoy short leisure breaks in Groom's House or our self-contained family flat, ‘Flat 14’, in the grounds.
Every booking is helping to support us at a time when our charitable income has been significantly diminished by the impacts of the ongoing pandemic, as we are unable to host the larger visiting groups that normally fill the house throughout the year.
Upkeep and refurbishment
While we have been closed to visiting groups during the national lockdowns, we have taken the opportunity to deep-clean across the building.
Our in-house Maintenance team have ensured the upkeep and routine health and safety management of the premises but also redecorated and refurbished many of our bedrooms and bathrooms. High-use back-of-house areas have been deep-cleaned and redecorated, and external doors and window frames repainted.
Meanwhile, our Housekeeping team has focused on the regular cleaning of hard surfaces, contact points and high-traffic areas throughout the pandemic, and during the first national lockdown we paid particular attention to cleaning carpets and soft furnishings, throughout the site.
