Grooms House

Groom’s House is a beautiful, 17th century house nestled in a privately enclosed garden, between the main Lodge and the Georgian mews at Cumberland Lodge.

It offers an exclusive facility for small groups, ideal for meetings, away days or small group leisure breaks.

Meeting and leisure break facilities

The house features two well-equipped meeting rooms, a fully fitted kitchen, seven en suite bedrooms, an accessible toilet, and two comfortable sitting rooms (one of which can also be used as a relaxed meeting room or break-out space).

The meeting rooms are approximately 4x5m in dimension, and can accommodate up to 12 people. They each benefit from natural sunlight and the two front rooms, Halifax and Denning, overlook the garden. They can also be used as a breakfast room and dining room.

We offer flexible catering options. Guests at Groom's House normally dine in the historic dining rooms of the main Lodge building, but for leisure breaks and other private events, a self-catering option is available, and lunches can often be provided in the house itself on weekdays.

The kitchen is equipped with a washing machine and tumble-dryer, a commercial dishwasher, eye-level oven, a gas hob, microwave and fridge.
