We stream a regular series of interactive webinars on pressing societal and ethical issues that relate to our work on social cohesion.
Linda Yueh and Lord Green, taking part in a Dialogue & Debate webinar from cumberland Lodge

Our Dialogue & Debate series launched in January 2020, to bring our work and ethos to new audiences online, alongside our regular programme of conferences, panel discussions and interdisciplinary retreats.

These interactive discussions, involving public figures and experts from a variety of fields, bring the 'Cumberland Lodge model' to a public audience, on desktop or mobile, watching live or on-demand via our website and social media channels.

'Dialogue & Debate' responds to key themes emerging from our conferences and other activities, as well as pressing issues arising in society. Each webinar is hosted by a Cumberland Lodge representative, including our Chief Executive, Dr Edmund Newell, our trustees and Cumberland Lodge Fellows.

As with all aspects of our work, we strive to involve younger voices and offer intergenerational perspectives on all the issues we address.

In 2019-20, we shared 16 webinars exploring a range of topics. All of our past webinars are available to watch or listen to on-demand on our Read, Watch, Listen page.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, our presenters and guest contributors taking part via video-conferencing software. We usually live-stream monthly, on the first Wednesday of the month, at 11am.
