This Spring, ‘The Indian Influence’ comes to Cumberland Lodge, with a new exhibition of artwork by Samantha Buckley.

This is the third of four open mornings and our doors will be open to the public from 10am till 12.30pm. It's free admission and everyone is welcome.

About the artist

Samantha Buckley studied at The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts in London. She uses traditional brushes, paper and pigments to produce paintings that are heavily influenced by the rich colours and intricate patterns of the Indian tradition of miniature painting.

‘The Indian Influence’ explores the use of these traditional techniques and colours but re-imagines them in contemporary environments.

Samantha has previously developed designs for Traditional Arts Limited, which was founded by The Prince of Wales, and she is involved in promoting the traditional arts and raising money for The Prince’s Trust.
