As part of our 70th anniversary series of events we invite you to join us for an afternoon of family entertainment and fun at our Summer Garden Party on Sunday 16 July.
Cumberland Lodge will be throwing open its doors and offering an afternoon of live music, drinks, hot food and snacks from our talented chefs, themed tours of the Lodge, magic tricks, face-painting, and outdoor games for one and all.
Relax and enjoy the stunning setting of this 17th century former royal residence, with sweeping views over Windsor Great Park.
We will be joined for the afternoon by two local acts from the Windsor area, including music from The Candy Girls, a colourful, close-harmony trio who will help us to while away the afternoon with tunes from the 1940/50s and some more modern songs in a vintage style. There will also be close-up magic tricks from young magician Dean Leavy, who is a member of the Magic Circle and is currently studying for his A-Levels at Windsor Boys School.
Food and drink
Our chefs will be on hand to serve up a sizzling BBQ and summer desserts on the lawn from midday onwards, and there will be a Pimm's tent, bar and tea tent.
We will also be offering free, short tours of the Lodge throughout the afternoon, led by members of our staff, covering our history, art and educational work over nearly four centuries.
How to book
All proceeds from the event will be used to support the charitable work of Cumberland Lodge as an educational foundation striving to build more peaceful, open and inclusive societies.
Tickets are £5 per person, which includes one item from the BBQ.
