We are delighted, once again, to be hosting a series of literary talks here at Cumberland Lodge, as part of the annual Windsor Festival.
Shami Chakrabarti’s latest book, Of Women, is a powerful, urgent and timely polemic on why women still need equality, and how we get there. Considered the greatest human rights abuse on the planet, not limited to one country or historical period, gender injustice is an ancient and continuing wrong. As we move forward in the 21st century, a time of crisis the world over, Shami will lay out the huge challenges we face with honesty and clarity, outlining what we do next and putting women’s rights at the centre of the progressive political agenda.
Tickets must be purchased in advance for this event, via the Windsor Festival website or by contacting the Windsor Festival Box Office on 01753 743585. Tickets are £12.50 each (incl booking fee).
