Our rooms are spread across all three of our buildings – the 18th century country house that is Cumberland Lodge itself, the former stables and servant quarters now transformed into the Mews Conference Centre and the Groom’s House, a self-contained Georgian house with its own rooms, service/kitchen area, bedrooms and private garden. Whether it’s a cosy sitting room, a historic chapel, a versatile open-plan room, an academic library or a fully equipped conference space, you’ll find a function room to hire. Our rooms can host between eight and 100 guests and can be set up in a wide range of seat and table layouts, from empty spaces to cabaret-style circular tables to a formal boardroom arrangement.
Two of our more unusual spaces that can be provided as function rooms to hire are the Vaults and the Wilderness area. The Vaults are a leisure and entertainment suite in the basement of Cumberland Lodge. The main entertainment room can host up to 90 people when fully furnished, and is equipped with a projector, sound system and disco lighting. There is also an adjacent relaxation space with chairs, coffee tables, a wall-mounted television and pool, table tennis and table football. This all makes for an informal but effective space for film screenings, dances, performances and parties – a perfect place for a celebration or entertainment function, or as a change from a more business-like event during the day. The Wilderness area is quite a different space. Tucked away in a secluded corner of Cumberland Lodge’s grounds, this is a flexible outdoor space. Hire a function room with accommodation and dining
When you rent a function room at Cumberland Lodge, you can get far more than just the one space. Not only do we have multiple rooms available for socialising and entertainment around your function, but we go far beyond the normal standard of function room hire West London has to offer.
We can provide overnight accommodation for up to 90 guests, in 58 en-suite rooms located in both the Lodge itself and within the Mews Conference Centre. Two of these rooms are accessible for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility. So, if your guests are travelling long distances or long hours, your function runs late into the evening or even if your event crossed multiple days, they have somewhere comfortable to rest, relax and recharge. They don’t have to leave the venue and you, as the host, don’t have to worry about the logistics of getting people to and from an off-site hotel.
Cumberland Lodge also boasts an in-house team of chefs who can put together bespoke menus to suit any occasion and taste. And we have three dining rooms of different sizes and characters, from the grand 100-seat Cumberland Dining Room to the more domestic Princess Helena Dining Room for 16 with views over Windsor Great Park – perfect for an evening meal or breakfast the morning after.
