Groom’s House

The view of Groom's House from the garden.

Groom’s House is a beautiful, 17th century house, nestled in a privately enclosed garden between the main building and the Mews at Cumberland Lodge.

It offers an exclusive facility for small groups, which is ideal for meetings, executive boards or team away-days.

Meeting facilities in Groom’s House

The house features two well-equipped meeting rooms, a fully-fitted kitchen, seven en-suite bedrooms, an accessible toilet, and a sitting room that can also be used as a relaxed meeting room or a break-out space.

The three main meeting rooms, Halifax, Denning and Charteris, are approximately 4x5m in dimension, and can accommodate 8-10 people for work-related gatherings. They each benefit from natural light and the two front rooms, Halifax and Denning, overlook the garden.

We offer flexible catering options during your stay. Meeting guests usually choose to dine in the historic dining rooms of the main Lodge, but a self-catering option is available, and lunches are often provided in Groom’s House on weekdays.
