Daniella is a psychology doctoral researcher and mental health advocate whose work sits at the intersection of clinical practice, research and social justice, spanning identity, belonging and mental health across Caribbean and international contexts, with particular attention to young people and women. Her experience includes psychotherapy, psychological assessment, child development work, and research on body image, media ideals and youth political disengagement. She has also led anti-stigma initiatives, most recently as Executive Producer at Stomp Out Stigma Jamaica. She is passionate about work that is thoughtful, human and evidence-based, exploring how identity, culture, access and representation shape wellbeing, and aims to contribute to psychology in ways that are compassionate, culturally responsive and grounded in real-world change.
