Merrill joined us in August 2018 as our General Manager, and since September 2020 she has been the Hospitality Director and part of our Executive team.
Merrill trained in Catering and Hotel Management at Eastbourne College and began her career in hospitality as a trainee manager at Brighton University, with responsibility for a residential conference centre for short courses.
Prior to joining us, she had spent 20 years working as a Catering and Events Manager for local government in West London, a role which involved overseeing a wide range of events, from large Asian and European weddings to mayoral receptions.
Merrill lives locally in Staines-upon-Thames and has three sons. Her youngest son plays various sports, so she spends most of her weekends supporting him from the side of a football or cricket pitch. Her eldest son lives in Dubai so she tries to get out there for a bit of sun and luxury twice a year. She loves to travel, enjoys going to the theatre and cinema and spending time with her family and friends.
