I am Saed, a PhD researcher in Court Interpreting at the University of Leeds. The core of my research is to examine the challenges of English-Arabic interpreting in UK courts.
As a sworn translator and experienced interpreter, specialising in legal and administrative contexts. I have over over 15 years of experience teaching English as a foreign and second language.
Multilingual in Arabic, English, French, and Hebrew, I am also multicultural, performing as a drummer with musicians from diverse backgrounds. I am an activist advocating for teachers’ rights in Palestine and a facilitator of workshops on reconciliation between Palestinian parties, promoting dialogue and social cohesion.
