Recordings of a virtual Cumberland Conversation with Leroy Logan MBE, streamed live on Zoom and Facebook Live on Thursday 11 February 2021, hosted by our Chief Executive, Dr Ed Newell.

Leroy is a writer and former senior police officer in the Metropolitan Police. He was a founding member of the National Black Police Association, and the subject of one of the BBC's acclaimed short films from the Small Axe series directed by Steve McQueen.

Leroy talks about his life experiences, and the challenges and opportunities he met during his long service as a senior Black police officer seeking to bring about positive change, both in the Police Force and in his local community. The Conversation includes questions submitted live by members of our online audience on Zoom.
