Examining how inequality, identity and belonging intersect with ideas of 'race' in Britain today.

Drawing on the wisdom and experience of interdisciplinary academics, policymakers, business leaders, charity representatives, community practitioners and activists, we offer fresh insight into current thinking and best practice, and a series of practical, policy-focused recommendations for tackling the causes and effects of racial inequalities.

This 12-month project involved interdisciplinary research to inform a briefing document, a multi-sector residential conference held at Cumberland Lodge, an expert consultation to review and refine the conference findings, and the publication of a final report, which was launched in London in October 2019.
