Step into the roaring twenties for a Murder Mystery weekend like no other. Join us this June for Cumberland Lodge’s first-ever Murder Mystery Weekend, set in the glamorous world of 1924.
Young men and women are together facing a world filled with political uncertainty and concerns about identity. But research has shown that they are diverging in attitudes towards feminism, masculinity and gender equality. The Netflix show Adolescence caused a huge response with its portrayal of the potentially violent and devastating consequences of these disagreements -
We bring together doctoral students from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines, to explore the value and potential of academic research, foster collaboration, and develop public engagement skills, as well as providing space to reflect on how research and academic careers might promote more inclusive and just societies.
Join us for a guided tour of our beautiful 17th century building, which was historically home to Rangers of the Great Park, including Prince Christian and Princess Helena, daughter of Queen Victoria. Tours run between 11am and 3pm and each ticket includes a boutique afternoon tea designed by our Head Chef of 40 years, Rob Szewczyk.
